junk, trash, garbage and some other semi-final results...*

* Installation created with Pedro Ludovino and Tiago Petinga exhibited at the ZDB Gallery in Lisbon, in March 1998.

The test is the spine of the whole work.
The garbage in which it transforms itself is rarely "exposed" to other eyes but the nocturnal eyes of the men that collect it.

The whole creative process follows a difficult path, where all non-final matter is abandoned, without any kind of favourable influence on the final result. The work presented is "clean", free from all rabble. With polished surfaces. With the errors, often inherent in production, which sometimes force us to follow other paths.

Who ever remembers those who rank second?
How often, by others' wills, have they been better than the winner?! Not even their peers remember the weak - they prefer to worship those made idols. Easy !!

Who cares to look at (I mean to see!!) the "waste bin" looking for information? Isn't it the final work, the clean debris of the artist? So, look back and foresee everything . Imagine the "forest" before it exists. Destroy the "forest".
